Our recommendations are based on years of experience and feedback from our clients. Select only wineries, microbreweries or distilleries ... or choose any combination to customize your personalized itinerary. It is completely up to you. Do you wish to visit an establishment that is not on our list? No problem! Do you want to add, skip, or change the order of which establishments you visit in the middle of your excursion? No problem! Changes can be made on-the-fly. With us, it's all about flexibility!

  • How do I book Winery, Microbrewery & Distillery transportation?

    Easy! You can either call us at 512-765-4410 or simply use our online booking system.


    If booking online, choose 'Hourly-As-Directed' service, the number of hours you want a vehicle, your pickup and drop off address (which is generally the same address). Then enter stops, which is the list of establishments that you want to visit. If you don't know your list of stops, no worries, just leave them off and we can add them later.


    Once we receive your transportation request, we will review it and send you a confirmation if we have availability in our schedule. We are generally quite busy, so booking in advance is recommended.

  • What should I estimate for travel time?

    The amount of travel time depends on where you plan to go and your pickup location. Following is a list of areas and the travel time (one-way) from downtown Austin. That said, travel time may be more during rush hour traffic. The following is a general rule-of-thumb:


    Driftwood: 25 Minutes

    Dripping Springs: 30 Minutes

    Johnson City/Hye: 75 Minutes

    Fredericksburg: 90 Minutes

    Marble Falls: 60 Minutes

  • How much time should I book? Will we be able to extend our reservation?

    Nothing is worse than running out of time when you're having such a great experience!


    We recommend booking the number of hours you think you need the vehicle and not less. We cannot always extend reservations. If we have another client directly after you, we will not be able to extend your reservation. If we can extend the reservation, we will pro-rate the hourly rate of the vehicle for every 15 minutes of extension.


    Recommending the number of hours to book is difficult because clients spend various amounts of time at venues. We've had clients spend anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours at establishments.


    That all said, a good rule-of-thumb for time is the estimated travel time to and from the area you wish to visit, plus 1 hour per establishment.

  • Can we consume alcohol in your vehicle?

    You will be driven by a licensed, professional chauffeur, therefore alcohol may be legally consumed in our vehicles. If you plan on consuming alcohol in our vehicles, make sure you read the following:


    Our vehicles are NOT party buses. We operate a professional service that transports many well-known clients who do not want to be in a vehicle that smells like a party bus. Therefore, if you drink alcohol, do so responsibly.


    Our clean-up fee starts at $250 and we will not hesitate to charge it for spilled alcohol. Regurgitation clean-up fees start at a $500 and will likely be much higher. In addition, there may be additional damage fees.


    Excessively inebriated passengers as determined by our driver and/or office will result in immediate termination of service and you will be charged the full confirmed rate plus any accumulated expenses. It is your responsibility to monitor your fellow passengers.


    You DO NOT want to pay our clean-up and damage fees. Fair warning.

  • Do you make reservations at establishments?

    No. We provide transportation only.


    Most venues do not require reservations, especially microbreweries and distilleries. Generally, the only reservations you will need to make is for formal wine tastings at wineries.

  • Who pays for tasting fees?

    We provide transportation only. Food, drinks & tasting fees, if any, are your responsibility.

  • Can establishments accomodate large groups?

    Most establishments on our lists are perfectly fine with any sized group. That said, establishments have been making various rules because of COVID and they change their rules from time to time.


    Generally, groups of 6 or less are accommodated without any issue at all.


    If you have a group of 10 or more, we recommend contacting each establishment to ensure your group can be accommodated.

Microbreweries, distilleries, and wineries are not bars or pubs. Tasting rooms are designed to provide visitors an opportunity to taste and learn about the adult beverages offered by the individual establishments. Most microbreweries, distilleries and wineries will not tolerate intoxication. Austin Private Car Service will not transport an intoxicated individual to any establishment. Our vehicles are NOT party buses. We invite you to consume adult beverages responsibly.
